Professionally, I am incredibly proud of the education I received this year. Attending VWISE in Phoenix was a game-changer. It offered so much more than I had expected, and the connections I made with fellow veteran women from across the nation were a bonus I'll cherish forever. I also had the privilege of serving some truly amazing clients and selling their homes. In the process, I met some wonderful agents who were so willing to share their knowledge and help me exceed my own expectations. I'm so thankful for the willingness of others to pass down what they have learned.

This year wasn't just about professional growth; it was also a year of personal adventure. I traveled more than I ever have before! My trip to Phoenix gave me the perfect opportunity to visit Tombstone, Arizona—a place that had been on my bucket list since seeing the movie with Kurt Russell and Val Kilmer. With Val Kilmer's recent passing, the trip felt a little more personal and meaningful. My soul sister, Renee, and I also planned a trip to be beach bum in Florida, making a special stop in St. Augustine, which I believe should be on everyone's bucket list! We even hiked the land that my eighth-great-grandparents once owned in South Carolina.

The year was also filled with family moments that will last a lifetime. I took my grandchildren to Warren and the Indiana Dunes this summer, with a stop to see my brother in Illinois. Watching them play in the sand and wade in Lake Michigan brought back so many beautiful memories of when I was their age. And to cap off a year of travel, I went on a Margaritaville Cruise, taking advantage of their great veteran discounts and even free cruise offers.

My heart is overflowing with love and gratitude, filled with the laughs and great conversations I've shared with family and friends. And on a professional level, being able to interview so many great veteran resources right here in Tulsa is something I never thought I would or could do.
